Journal entry for: 1-15-2002

Hello there everyone,

     I hope you're having a great start to your new year. We're excited about all the things that are coming up in our near future. Our new website is launching at the end of this week, and it looks amazing. Mark has been doing some pretty incredible stuff with it, and I can't for you all to enjoy it.

     In other news, we're gearing up to hit the road for the release of the record. The dates are listed below, and they promise to be a great time, as we are really excited to play this new record live.

     The biggest news is, of course, the release of our new album, "A Place Where You Belong". Mark and I signed off on the final mixes and artwork last Tuesday, and it is now off to the presses. We think it looks great, and sounds unbelievable. I keep listening to it here at home, and I am liking it more and more. I think it's our strongest record yet, by a long shot. I can't wait to get it out there.

     Other than the band stuff life here has been good. B.J. is enjoying working at a studio called "The Playground". A very cool place. Mark is doing his web stuff. They and Mike are all enjoying being married and being home. Cason is in Wichita, but is coming back to Nashville as soon as he recovers from getting his wisdom teeth out. Poor guy. Me, I'm writing, practicing, and enjoying being at home as well. I also have a few solo shows these next two weekends, and the details of those will follow this as well. I'd love to see you out there!
